"Great Super Nintendo emulator"
They say the old games never die, and that may well be true. Now you can play old games on modern machinery, and there is also a healthy trade in original consoles and games on the Internet. You may even have some yourself. But perhaps the biggest revolution in gaming is the advent of emulators. They allow you to play old games on your computer. And this program, called Snes 9x, is one of them. As its name will probably suggest to you if you are a fan of old games, Snes 9x is a powerful SuperNES and Super Famicon (Japanese version of SuperNES) emulator.
Snes 9x is a portable, freeware emulator for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES), capable of emulating almost every game for this console, and also permits the use of Japanese games that were never sold in Europe (and there are some real gems amongst them). This program has taken more than three years to develop, based on continuous hacking, coding, recoding, debugging, etc. It is coded in C++ to enable you to easily play your SNES games on your computer, using the keyboard and mouse or any compatible joystick.
Snes 9x: Totally essential!
